The Delaney at Lake Waco has named Mary Jane Voltin to serve as Community Relations Counselor for the senior living community, which is under construction and scheduled to open later this summer on West Highway 6 near Lake Waco.
“Mary Jane brings valuable experience to her role, but the fact that she is a lifelong Wacoan makes her a natural fit for The Delaney at Lake Waco,” says Ken Wahnschaffe, Executive Director.
Wahnschaffe explains, “Mary Jane has engaged with multiple community boards and utilized her talents in chairing fundraising events over the years in Waco. Couple that with over four years of experience in the field of senior living and it is clear that she brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to this position with our community.”
As Community Relations Counselor, Voltin will discuss independent living options at The Delaney Lake Waco and assisted living and memory care lifestyle services offered in the on-site neighborhoods of Hamlets at The Delaney with various professionals and community resources in the area.
“Joining the team now, just months from the opening of the community, is really exciting,” says Voltin. “It is such a unique place with its gorgeous vistas of Lake Waco and Ridgewood Country Club. Nothing like a traditional retirement community, it’s more like a casually sophisticated home with a contemporary, but comfortable aesthetic. Residents will have all the freedom and privacy they want in a residence that offers all the beauty and modern conveniences of their current home, but with new friends, restaurant-style dining, and so many amenities right outside their door.”
Voltin has assumed her role at The Delaney at Lake Waco and may be reached at the community’s Information Center, now open at 1603 N. Valley Mills Drive in Waco. Those interested in learning more may call (254) 651-1010 or e-mail info@TheDelaneyatLakeWaco.com.
